Legendary Pokemon

Ya when I said that it was prior to that news being said.

 

Sounds as though we will get raid type events where we all participate and then can get a legendary pokemon from it. But there were no sources so no idea on the validity of it. I just hope this game doesn't become something we have to travel a ton for.

 

It's called Pokemon GO...
GO typically means you have to GO somewhere.

 

True, but the target audience is also kids who don't have cars and ways to go very far so I would assume that TCPI and Niantic will make sure that events happen in a fairly uniform manner as to location, like 1 every 5-10 miles or so...allowing everyone to have a chance.

 

I don't drive.
But I can take a train and stuff (and I'm thinking about learning to drive! Bit late at age 20 since legal age here is 17 but better late than never...)

 

I will play no matter what, but I am not going to travel out of state or country for an event. If others will, more power to you.

 

What even is a state?

(We don't have 'states' here in the U.K., so I legitimately don't really know what one is - I heard it said a lot, but in reality... I dunno.)

Edit: Ok... Just looked it up. Seems like it's just a country?
We were until recently (apparently?) a European state, but cos it's apparently politically we no longer are a European state. May be completely wrong tho... I dunno...

Shouldn't matter when it comes to legendary Pokemon tho... Just waiting for some events in the second city for me to attend and for the servers to smooth out since they are down again.

 

Think of states sort of like your regions in the UK...Kent, Midlands, etc...except each has it's own government.

CP changes as your level changes. THe higher level you are, the higher potential CP pokemon you'll find or hatch.

i'm really looking forward for that global event!,

 

i'm expecting they'll be releasing one legendary pokemon each global event.
